Host Families
Total Academic Center, an English, Math and SAT prep learning center located in West Hartford, CT seeks host families for international students for spring session 2010 and during the upcoming academic year (Sept 2010 – June 2011).
The students will be attending local middle or high school in Wethersfield, Bristol, West Hartford, and Manchester this upcoming academic year. We seek families who can provide room, board and transportation if needed. The host families will be compensated for their hospitality/efforts at a rate of $1,300 per month. Students will have medical insurance and spending money.
The preferable family will provide a stable home environment and seek to enhance the experience of international students who are studying and preparing for college in the United States.
An application and interview are required to become a host family.
