Algebra II
Algebra II begins with an in-depth review of the many concepts learned in Algebra I, to ensure the student’s foundation and understanding is sound. The Algebra II class then introduces new concepts such as: matrices, monomial and polynomial functions and operations, quadratic functions and inequalities with real and imaginary number solutions, conics, hyperbole and ellipses, exponential and logarithmic relations, trigonometric functions, and graphs and identities (sine, cosine, tangent).
As with Pre-algebra and Algebra I, the teacher tailors the pace of the course to the needs of the student. Students are given ample problems to solve, giving them the opportunity to understand and master new concepts.
