Elementary Math

Our Elementary Math classes utilize a series of books published by Continental Press.  The Kindergarten & 1st grade levels introduce basic mathematical concepts, such as counting, ordering, shapes, number stories, and simple addition & subtraction.  As students master these concepts, they progress to the next book in the series, which introduces new concepts and offers more challenging problems on previous concepts learned in prior books.  Subsequent books in the series cover estimation, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, angles, perimeter, area, circumference, and word problems.

   Completing the whole series will give students a solid mathematical base and will prepare them for more advanced math classes such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, and Albebra II.
